Infused with emotion, unforgettable melodies, and high-quality songwriting
craftsmanship. this is Dave's strongest collection of songs to date. The
album has a warm, rootsy, and contemporary sound, due to both the mus9icians
and the instruments selected to flesh out the compositions, and the superb
room sound and engineering (Todd Jones) of Meadowlark Studio where the album
was recorded in Strafford, N.H.
Helping Dave to add color and texture to
Dreams of
Kings is a great list of Seacoast region musicians including Dave Gerard's bandmates in Truffle, Ed Jurdi, High Range, Peter Black, Kate Redgate, Conor
O'Brien, Gary Lopez, and internationally known sax man, Jeff Coffin (Bela
Fleck & the Flecktones).
The CD will also be in select New England retail
record stores as of May 1st, and available on line at
www.gerardtruffle.com for more
information visit the site or call (603) 742-4942.
"If music is a
house, then Dreams Of Kings feels like the perfect living room. The record
is a songwriters dream, filled with memorable stories, lovable characters,
and follow-the-bouncing-ball melodies, sure to satisfy diverse music
audiences everywhere" ~ Showcase Magazine / Foster's Daily Democrat.

The follow up solo recording for Dave Gerard. "Losing The Boy" picks up where "Memory Hill" left off. It runs deeper, and explores new musical textures and lyrical content. Recorded in 1999 at Dizzland studios, Gerard is helped out once again by Truffle members as well as other Seacoast N.H. and some Virginian musicians. Highlights
include: "Preston Hollow", "Lonely Girl", "A Nickel and Dime Life", and the first David Bailey penned tune "Church On Saturday Night".
"Dave Gerard's second solo album is outstanding. Losing The Boy is well crafted with ballads, up-tempo numbers and lots of soul, folk and skill. You can swear you've heard him and his songs all over the radio, it's that good". ~ Jam Music Magazine |

Dave Gerard's debut solo album. Recorded in the barn atmosphere of Meadowlark studio in the winter of 1996. The feeling of a New England winter comes out in this collection of music. A nice vibe runs throughout the CD with mostly acoustic performances of very romantic music. Fellow Truffle members and various Seacoast musicians lend a
hand. Highlights include: "Out Of Touch" (duet with Kristen Mueller), "In The Dark", "Wrong Side Dream", and a fine trumpet performance by bassist David Bailey on the title cut.
"It feels like Gerard's plugged into some kind of universal rhythm. Listening to Memory Hill gives one the distinct feeling that one is alive and that anything is possible"
